Welcome to the SuneoX Blog
My name is Carlos, I am 50 years old, and in my community they call me SuneoX. I am passionate about nature, walking at a slow pace, and telling stories.
For years I felt strong and active, until COVID changed my life. After a long medical battle, I received a complex diagnosis: severe sleep apnea, class II obesity, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue. My body changed, but not my willpower.
Today, I am starting a new chapter by moving to the south of Tenerife to recover my health and quality of life. From this process arises Alma Nova, my new beginning and a way to show that we can always choose a different pace.
Why did this blog start?
I have always been curious about blogs and podcasts, but I never dared to start one. When I began my project, I asked myself a simple question:
How can I offer something authentic?
The answer was clear: to share the land where I live from a slow perspective. I don’t want to just list places; I want to walk through towns, listen to their stories, meet their people, and share it all at a calm pace. This blog was born to tell stories that deserve to be told.
Goal
My goal is to showcase every town in the province of Girona, especially the many I already know, and later expand to other provinces.
I want to highlight our land and history with a slow mindset: enjoying the journey without the pressure of the fast-paced rhythm that seems expected today.
Why in English?
Because I want to learn and improve my English while also opening a window for English-speaking people to discover our land and history.
And, of course, you can always translate the content into your own language using your browser.
What will you find here?
A calm and welcoming space where you can explore:
- Places full of history
- Family-friendly routes
- Local gastronomy
- Legends and curiosities
- Historical figures
- Updates on the Alma Nova project
This is not a blog to rush through. It is a place to discover slowly and walk step by step.
Welcome to the SuneoX Blog!
